Personnel required for a major expansion at existing Pilbara mine sites to sustain operations. Site works have commenced, and major contracts will be awarded over the next 12 months, with works continuing through to handover in 2021. Calibre has been awarded the EPCM contract for the project and currently has a team of 120 engineers, procurement and project support personnel in Perth, whilst the site team will grow to a peak of about 70 site coordinators, engineers, HSE and site support personnel.
All Calibre Site personnel will be accommodated at the expanded existing Mesa A Camp and the Mesa H construction camp working on a 2 and 1 roster, flying in and out of Perth via Karratha.
Post award management of site based construction contracts;
Day to day administration including preparation and issuance of correspondence and site instructions and management of dayworks;
Uploading and updating of information the Company’s Contract Management System;
Provide assistance and input into the review and assessment of contractor claims;
Processing contract variations, takeover documentation and completion certificates;
Site based role.
Relevant experience in contracts / procurement field;
Good knowledge and experience in administering contractual policies, processes and procedures;
Strong administrative skills and application of client contracting processes;
Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders;
Good attention to detail;
Relevant qualification (degree / certification) is a plus but not mandatory (provided experience is sufficient);
Computer literacy - Word/Excel with Omnicom or other database experience a bonus;
Broad discipline experience preferred, packages to be managed will include earthworks, civils, NPI and SMPEI
Previous site based experience in a similar role mandatory, 2+ years preferred;
Previous Rio Tinto experience desirable, but not essential.
