Personnel required to support a major expansion at existing Pilbara mine sites to sustain operations. Site works have commenced, and major contracts will be awarded over the next 12 months, with works continuing through to handover in 2021. Calibre has been awarded the EPCM contract for the project and currently has a team of 120 engineers, procurement and project support personnel in Perth.
Responsible for tendering and award of a large SMPEI package;
Develop supporting documentation and contract administration;
Pre- and post-award management of construction contracts;
Preparation of tender documents;
Evaluation, negotiation and award of tenders;
Perth based role.
Relevant experience in contracts / procurement for projects, 10+ years preferred;
Knowledge of tendering and contractual policies, processes and procedures;
Strong administrative skills and application of client contracting processes including ongoing stakeholder/ client relationship management;
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders;
Sound commercial acumen - attention to detail;
Relevant qualification (degree / certification) is a plus but not mandatory (provided experience is sufficient);
Broad discipline experience preferred, including the management of SMP and E&I;
Experience tendering and managing large multi-discipline schedule of rates packages;
Computer literacy - Word/Excel with SAP/ Omnicom a bonus;
Previous Rio Tinto experience desirable, but not essential.
