The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated Dealer Principal/National Sales Manager of Special Products. Reporting to the General Manager of Special Products you will play a pivotal role in managing the daily sales activity for Isuzu Trucks in the Lower North Island and all CablePrice Special Products nationwide, namely:

  • Isuzu Trucks Master Dealer - Greater Wellington Region and Wairarapa
  • McCloskey Quarry and Construction Equipment - Nationwide
  • Isuzu Industrial and Marine Engines - Nationwide
  • HSC Cranes - Nationwide
  • Specialised engineering products and attachments - Nationwide

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the daily sales activity for the Isuzu Trucks business in the Lower North Island
  • Assume all responsibilities for the Isuzu brand and maintain all commitments, communication and targets with the Distributor Isuzu New Zealand 
  • Lead the Isuzu and Special Products Teams to achieve business objectives
  • Developing strategies to achieve maximum growth from existing and new customers
  • Implementing strategic plans and objectives to grow the company's market share and enhance brand awareness
  • Identifying and driving new business development opportunities
  • Retention of existing customers

We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with high personal standards and integrity. You will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service which will enable you to consistently follow through on promises and exceed the expectations of our valued customers. You will also have:

  •  A proven history in successful sales and sales management
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a talent for building excellent relationships
  • Sound commercial acumen and a high level of professionalism
  • Light and Heavy Vehicle Industry Knowledge - Will be considered an advantage
  • Quarry and Construction Machinery - Will be considered an advantage 
  • Engineering Products - Will be considered an advantage
