The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to be part of our Inwards Goods function and be involved in all warehousing activities. This is a permanent full time position, your main focus will be to control the warehousing activity.
In this role you will be:
- Inwards goods processing and storage
- Outwards goods picking and distribution to both internal and external customers
- General Warehouse housekeeping
- Use of the company ERP system
- Active participation in both cyclical and annual stock-takes
- Being part of a small team critical to the success of our parts supply chain process
- Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, to both internal and external customers
- Maintain safety and warehouse compliance
You will also be hard working, task focused and cool under pressure, allowing you to prioritise tasks in a busy workplace. Knowledge and/or experience with advanced warehouse systems is an advantage, and a current forklift drivers licence is necessary.
You will bring:
- Similar experience in a warehousing environment,
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- The ability to positively engage with all parts of the business
- A high level of Warehouse operating system knowledge
- The ability to multitask in a time driven environment
- Demonstrated logistics experience.
