Equipment Technician / Diesel Mechanic

Here at CablePrice, we are the exclusive authorised dealer for Hitachi Construction Machinery, Bell Equipment, McCloskey International, HSC Cranes, Montabert, MB Crushers and Isuzu Industrial and Marine Engines. Furthermore, we are also the authorised sales, parts, and service dealer for Isuzu Trucks in Wellington, and as of recently the full range offered IVECO from their light commercial, 4x4, right up to heavy duty on and off hi-way truck range in Palmerston North and Hastings.

If you consider yourself an enthusiastic and experienced Heavy Equipment Technician or a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you’ll want to consider coming to join us here in Wellington. To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

• Heavy Diesel or Automotive Qualification with 3 years’ experience or maybe 5 years + of heavy diesel experience (with no qualification)
• Mechanical capabilities and technical skills for servicing and maintance of our Equipment
• A wicked diagnostic ability with analytical thinking to navigate the complex issues that come up in our day-to-day challenges.
• Confidence in your computer literacy and a committed, customer-focused mindset.
