Warehouse Person

The Opportunity

Be part of our Inwards Goods function and be involved in all warehousing activities. This is a permanent full time position in Lower Hutt, your main focus will be to control the warehousing activity. You will be hard working, task focused and cool under pressure, allowing you to prioritise tasks in a busy workplace. This role could suit someone looking to pursue a new career within this industry.

You will be responsible for: 

• Inwards goods and outwards processing and storage
• Outwards goods picking and distribution to both internal and external customers
• General Warehouse housekeeping
• Use of the company ERP system
• Active participation in both cyclical and annual stock-takes
• Being part of a small team critical to the success of our parts supply chain process
• Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, to both internal and external customers
• Maintain safety and warehouse compliance

You will bring:

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Forklift experience
• The ability to positively engage with all parts of the business
• Enthusiasm; you're a go getter and willing to learn
• Demonstrated logistics experience.
• Experience in a warehousing environment would be an advantage
• The ability to multitask in a time driven environment
