About the Opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced operational professional to join the Invercargill branch of our industry leading company. We have a clear direction for our future success, and key principles and values to guide us there. The foundations have been laid, the challenge is set, now we just need you to take the steering wheel.
To be successful in this role you will have well established operational and strategic managerial experience, combined with a developed understanding of the heavy vehicle and/or construction machinery industries.
Setting and implementing a strategic business direction
Optimising business opportunities and minimising business risks
Productively managing and utilising capital and operational expenditure
Achieving and exceeding agreed targets and KPI’s
Implementing and monitoring health and safety initiatives and managing legal compliance
Recruiting, developing and retaining high performing staff, including change management and team culture development
Producing accurate and timely reports
You will have had extensive leadership experience and all-round exposure to multiple facets of business management. You will also have sound operational decision-making abilities and highly developed communication skills.
