Apprentice Technician/ Diesel Mechanic

The Opportunity 

This position comes at an exciting time for our Rotorua Branch as CablePrice (long standing Hitachi construction equipment supplier) has just been appointed as the New Zealand importer and distributor for Tigercat forestry and off-road industrial machinery. As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice Equipment Technician/ Diesel Mechanic to join our dedicated team. This role is suitable for someone wanting to build their future with CablePrice, with full brand training provided, we invest in our employees with ongoing coaching, training, and career development as well as succession planning and promotion from within.

• Observant and mechanically minded
• Written skills of a good standard and an understanding of basic mathematics
• Energy and the focus to study as required to gain MITO credits
• Experience with the industry, through work experience, pre-trade courses or other avenues would be of benefit.
• Drivers Licence. You must have held at least a restricted licence for a minimum of six months
