We are looking for an experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our high achieving Housekeeping Team. The successful applicant will be employed on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager with directing and overseeing all housekeeping staff.

The main duties of this role will include:

• Checking all rooms cleaned by the Room Attendants to ensure they meet Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa standards
• Liaising closely with the Front Office department regarding room status
• Ensuring productivity and daily schedules are adhered to
• Assisting in the training of new staff to ensure correct cleaning procedures and chemical usage
• Ensure staff display professional and helpful service to all guests
• Manage and execute any concerns or queries from guests regarding the service relevant to the housekeeping department
• Assist the Executive Housekeeper with recruitment requirements, staff disciplinary action and performance management

Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Previous management experience in a commercial cleaning environment
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
• The ability to work weekends and public holidays
• Previous experience in a similar Resort or Hotel environment will be highly regarded
