Barista

Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in beautiful Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 225 rooms of varying styles, 4 restaurants, pool side bars, banquet department, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa.

We are seeking an enthusiastic Barista who has experience in coffee service industry to work within our food and beverage department. Our restaurant outlets operates on a 7 day rotating roster and will require you to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced and busy operation.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare and serve both hot and cold specialty drinks including coffee and teas. 
• Cleaning and maintaining state of the art equipment’s - Coffee machine, grinder, puck and stay on top of servicing and fine tuning.
• Provide training where required to have coverage through 7 days operations.
• Ensure that yourself and staff display professional, friendly, and helpful service to all guests in line with standards and training provided.

The successful candidate will need:

• At least one year in the coffee service industry. 
• Current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate. 
• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Previous a la carte and/or functions experience.
• Qualifications or certification in a Hospitality/ Tourism course.
• Knowledge of liquor licensing and food safety.
