Burger Urge kicked off 19 years ago with a mission to reclaim the burger. Today, we're one of Australia's fastest-growing burger brands, with ambitious plans for the future and a network of passionate Franchise Partners and Support Office teams driving our success.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Development Coordinator to help us identify, assess and deliver our next generation of venues.

About the Role

Reporting directly to our Head of Development, you'll play a key role in growing the Burger Urge network across Australia.

You'll help identify new venue opportunities, research trade areas, build relationships with landlords and agents, support lease negotiations and help match approved Franchise Partners with exciting new locations.

Some days you'll be out exploring shopping centres and emerging precincts. Other days you'll be analysing demographics, preparing development reports or meeting with property professionals to uncover the next great Burger Urge location.

No two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

• Researching new development opportunities across Australia.
• Identifying potential sites, shopping centres and hospitality venues suitable for Burger Urge.
• Building relationships with commercial agents, landlords and developers.
• Conducting trade area, demographic and competitor analysis.
• Assisting with lease negotiations and commercial submissions.
• Preparing location reports, presentations and development recommendations.
• Maintaining our development pipeline and property database.
• Working closely with our Franchise Development team to align approved Franchise Partners with new opportunities.
• Representing Burger Urge professionally with external stakeholders.

We'd love to see:

• 1–3 years' experience in property, leasing, commercial real estate, retail, hospitality or a similar industry.
• Strong organisational and analytical skills.
• Confidence using Excel and preparing reports and presentations.
• Great communication and relationship-building skills.
• A willingness to travel occasionally to inspect potential sites.
• A current driver's licence.

Experience in QSR, retail property or franchising is a bonus - but if you've got the right attitude and a genuine passion for growth, we'd still love to hear from you.
