As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Human Resources Manager to lead our People & Culture function and support our national network.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Executive Team, the HR Manager will oversee the full HR lifecycle across our Support Office and store network. This role is ideal for a proactive, solutions-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and enjoys building strong relationships with leaders and teams.

You will lead HR operations, workforce planning, compliance, learning & development, and organisational culture initiatives while supporting major business projects such as new store openings, refurbishments, and organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

People & Culture Leadership

  • Lead the People & Culture Department, including annual planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee HR operations, BAU schedules, and major HR projects.
  • Provide strategic HR advice to senior leaders and venue managers.

Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Manage Support Office recruitment, onboarding, and employment contracts.
  • Support national recruitment strategies for store teams and new venue openings.
  • Maintain accurate job descriptions, PD matrices, and organisational charts.

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, Fast Food Industry Award, enterprise agreements, and workplace policies.
  • Manage performance, disciplinary processes, grievances, and workplace investigations.
  • Draft and review awards, agreements, and WorkCover-related documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS standards and HR legislation.

Visa & Sponsorship Program

  • Oversee the company’s Visa Strategy Program, including sponsorship obligations and migration processes.
  • Manage eligibility criteria, documentation, and compliance requirements.

Learning, Development & Culture

  • Coordinate training programs, leadership development, and internal communications.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and workplace consultative committees.

Project & Operational Support

  • Lead HR components of new store openings, refurbishments, closures, and buybacks.
  • Support Support Office administration and HR reporting.
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning and organisational development.

What You’ll Bring

  • Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law, awards, and HR best practice.
  • Experience in a multi-site or hospitality environment (highly regarded).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Salary

$120,000-160,000 per annum + superannuation (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
