Location: Mackay, QLD

The Role

As Assistant Venue Manager, you will support the Venue Manager across all aspects of restaurant operations, including:

  • Staff leadership and development
  • Food safety and compliance
  • Customer service excellence
  • Inventory management and stock control
  • Rostering and shift coverage
  • Supporting financial performance outcomes
  • Implementing marketing and promotional initiatives
  • Maintaining a clean, organized and high-standard venue

You will play a key role in setting the tone on shift and ensuring the team consistently delivers a great guest experience.

What We’re Seeking

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and manage guest experiences confidently
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or ability to obtain)
  • Current RSA certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
  • A positive, motivated and solutions-focused mindset
