Burger Urge Assistant Venue Manager

Location: Mackay

We’re a fast-growing and dynamic restaurant group with a genuine passion for what we do. We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Venue Manager to help lead, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and build a positive, high-performing team culture.

About The Role

  • Supporting all aspects of restaurant operations, including people leadership, customer service, food safety, inventory management, and financial performance
  • Training, coaching, and developing team members to deliver exceptional results
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
  • Managing inventory and ordering to maintain efficient operations
  • Assisting with rostering and ensuring shifts are appropriately staffed
  • Handling customer feedback and resolving issues professionally and promptly
  • Supporting local marketing initiatives and promotional activities
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and high-performing restaurant environment
  • Driving sales, team engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum two years' experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality or restaurants
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside your team
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation requirements
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Passion for hospitality, people development, and creating great customer experiences
