The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented Production Machine Operator / Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Welshpool!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience operating manufacturing equipment and using hand and power tools who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of production machinery, including pressing, proof loading, and other manufacturing equipment
  • Assemble components and finished products to specification
  • Conduct product testing and quality checks
  • Use hand tools and power tools effectively while following safety standards
  • Follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
  • Support and collaborate with colleagues in a team environment

Our Ideal Candidate will have

  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator, Production Operator, Assembler, or similar manufacturing role
  • Experience operating press machines, workshop gantry cranes,  load cells , or other industrial machinery
  • Confidence using hand tools and power tools
  • Attention to detail and commitment to good work quality
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment

Highly Regarded

  • Previous rigging , industrial or manufacturing experience
  • Leadership experience or the ability to mentor and support junior team members
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
