Due to a recent promotion, the position of National Strategic Sales Manager has opened in our team. Our business has experienced phenomenal growth over the past 3 years, and we are on the lookout for an experienced people leader to join us and help drive our Customer First & Trusted Advisor philosophy.

Your Opportunity

Your new role will be to lead the National Key Account & Market Specialist team in the development and execution of strategies, to deliver profitable sales growth and increased market share.

The role is critical to lead the development of our Strategic Sales teams capabilities and effectiveness through coaching and guidance - to realise deeper and stronger key customer relationships, ensuring all facets of the business relationship meet or exceed the customer’s expectations. 

As a senior leader you play a key role in the contribution to and shaping of the Bullivants corporate strategy, customer value proposition, and strategic sales planning.

As our new National Strategic Sales Manager, you will become an integral part of our leadership team. 

You will work closely and collaborative across internal stakeholders to achieve successful workplace relationships and customer outcomes.

We are open to all applications nation wide, however our ideal candidate will be based in Perth WA or Sydney NSW.

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Leading, coaching, and developing your team to ensure exceptional sales outcomes
  • Actively evaluate and identify share of wallet/market share opportunities within designated key customers
  • Collaborate with senior management to expand the Bullivants offers to deliver profitable sales growth
  • Represent Bullivants Senior Leadership by attending quarterly customer business reviews (QBRs) with key customers alongside National Key Account Managers (NKAMs). Provide coaching and support to the NKAMs in the preparation, during and post these QBRs to ensure the value from these reviews is being maximised
  • Lead short- and long-range sales forecasts and budgets initiatives for the strategic customer portfolio including the 5 year corporate plan
  • Exceed sales and margin budgets through effective sales management and implementation of sales strategies
  • Monitoring competitor sales promotions and pricing structures, and collaborate with Regional and National Managers
  • Seeking and capitalising on growth opportunities through strategic planning and market analysis
  • Nurturing key customer relationships by providing expert advice
  • Prioritising personal and business safety at all times. 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent organisational, time management, and project management skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including persuasion and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritise work
  • Experience in managing teams and supporting their development
  • Ability to coach, lead, and have performance discussions to support your team's growth and success.
  • A valid driver's license is essential
