Looking to swap FIFO for a Perth based role or looking to take the next step in your career?

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our skilled team in the manufacturing and testing of lifting and rigging equipment. Based in Welshpool and working Monday to Friday, this role is ideal for Maintenance Supervisors, Superintendents, or Workshop Leading Hands who thrive in hands-on environments but are ready to step into a leadership position with better work-life balance.

Some of the key responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the manufacturing and testing operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop your team including Team Leaders, Production Technicians.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Supply Chain to align with priorities and inventory
  • Work with the team to uplift productivity and efficiency while maintaining equipment service scheduling
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards (including NATA, DNV, ISO, HSE)
  • Foster a positive, engaged workplace culture through daily communications, team development and performance recognition

Some of the skills required:

  • Previous experience in Lifting & Rigging, Manufacturing and/or Distribution environment
  • Team leadership and team development experience
  • A current forklift ticket
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and bring people on a journey
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in a continuous improvement environment (including Lean and 6 sigma)
  • Knowledge of heavy lifting and rigging product advantageous
  • Exposure to NATA or similar desirable
