What we have on offer:
Due to exciting business growth, we have 2 vacancies in our Field Service Technical Team and we are looking for motivated and reliable team members to join us. This is a Monday to Friday role giving you weekends with family and friends, and we are open to considering rostering arrangements for more flexibility for the right candidates.
While it would be an advantage if you have industry experience, it is not essential. We have an amazing and talented technical training team who will provide you with the best technical training program to give you a great start in your new career with us. Once qualified, this role will see you provide professional inspection and testing services to our customers, both externally and internally whilst delivering technical advice within the scope of our expertise.
We are looking for individuals to join us and will support and drive our Customer First Philosophy. We are passionate about safety, diversity, employee engagement and lifelong learning – be part of our team!
What your new role entails:
- On and off-site inspections and testing of lifting equipment
- Maintenance and service repairs on products
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide advice on our products
- 100% commitment to personal and business safety
- Liaise with customers, their employees and work on their worksites
- Willingness to travel to customer locations which may include overnight stays.
What you will bring with you:
- A demonstrated technical service experience within a manufacturing background – preferred but not essential. If you have some mechanical aptitude, we can build a development program for you.
- The ability to develop strong professional relationships
- The ability to work autonomously if required
- A willingness to work in a sometimes physically demanding role
- The ability to work at heights
- Flexibility for regular travel to customer sites
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Problem solving and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy skills – email and Excel
