Bullivants is a trusted name in industrial lifting and rigging solutions, supporting some of Australia’s most demanding industries. We’re now looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and grow our WA and SA operations, with responsibility across multiple branches, key accounts, and specialist sales functions.
This is a pivotal leadership role, partnering closely with the National Sales Manager to drive sustainable sales growth, develop high-performing teams, and strengthen our position with strategic customers.

As Area Sales Manager WA/SA, you’ll lead geographically dispersed sales teams across Perth, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Bunbury and Adelaide, including Branch Supervisors, Sales Managers, NKAMs and specialist project resources.
You’ll balance hands-on commercial leadership with strategic planning—coaching teams in the field, analysing performance, and shaping regional sales strategy to deliver profitable growth.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading sales and margin growth across WA and SA, delivering against agreed budgets and targets
- Coaching, developing and performance-managing a senior, multi-location sales team
- Partnering with the National Sales Manager to implement effective regional and national sales strategies
- Building strong relationships with key customers and market segments to increase share of wallet
- Driving disciplined sales execution through forecasting, pipeline management, and call planning
- Analysing sales trends, customer data and inventory to identify opportunities and risks
- Championing safety leadership and compliance across branches and customer sites
- Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Category, Pricing and National Training teams
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in sales leadership, ideally across industrial, mining, construction, or B2B environments
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site or geographically dispersed teams
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance growth, margin and customer value
- A coaching-led leadership style with a passion for developing people and building capability
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and strategic key accounts
- The ability to think strategically while remaining hands-on and outcome focused
- A values-driven approach aligned to collaboration, accountability and enterprise thinking
What’s in it for you
- A senior, high-impact leadership role with genuine influence
- Exposure to large, strategic customers and complex sales solutions
- Strong support from a national leadership and training structure
- A business that prioritises safety, teamwork and long-term growth
- Discounts to Wesfarmers retailers (Bunnings, Kmart, Officeworks, Target)
