Due to exciting business growth, we are on the hunt for our next Manufacturing and Production Technician to support our Customer First philosophy in Welshpool, Perth.

This role will see you manufacture, assemble, service and/or test as required Wire ropes, Wire rope slings, Chain slings and other lifting, rigging or safety products/assemblies in accordance with Australian Standards and company policies and procedures.

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Operating hydraulic press, chain cutter and other testing equipment
  • Assembly and inspection of lifting gear
  • Manufacturing, testing of chain and wire rope slings
  • Pick packing of products of customer’s orders
  • Adhering to the company’s HSE policies and procedures

To be successful, you will bring;

  • Previous experience in manufacturing / stores / warehousing environment
  • Knowledge in the Lifting, Rigging or Safety Industry preferred but not essential
  • Ability to interpret technical information and perform standard calculations
  • Forklift licence with recent experience required
  • A commitment to safety and quality
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Ability and willingness to work in a small team
  • Experience in a customer focused environment
  • Dedication, reliability, commitment, and a strong work ethic
