Storeperson - Darwin NT

We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic Storeperson to join our close-knit warehouse team based locally in Winnelie NT. You will support our business operations and ensure we deliver on our Customer First philosophy – we are easy to do business with.

Your days will never be the same in a diverse role where you will have responsibility for receiving, storing, picking and dispatch customer orders.

Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Receiving, checking and storing of incoming goods
• Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
• Forklift operations to assist with dispatch and receiving of goods
• Inventory management and cycle counting
• Use of computer systems for data entry and use of Freight Management system
• Problem solving customer requests

You will be well supported with a team of technical and sales experts.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in a Warehouse or Pick/Pack desirable
• Current and valid First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Current Forklift licence and experience essential
• Computer skills for data entry – training will be provided
• Clear verbal and written communication skills with a proactive approach
• Ability to work in a sometimes physically demanding role
• A commitment to safety and quality
• Motivation to learn and progress into other roles within the business
• Ability and willingness to work in a small team
