Brisbane City Council is recruiting for its award-winning DisAbility Action at Work (DAaW) program. This program matches work ready skilled people living with disability into temporary work placements within a supportive and engaging work environment.

Council is seeking people who are keen to take on a valuable growth opportunity commencing in August 2026 through to November 2026.
Participants work across a wide range of teams/disciplines, matched to their skills and interests. For example:
- Development Services
- Master Data
- ICT Services
- Ecology and conservation management
- Warehouse and Logistics
- Library Services
- Arts and Community Development
- Compliance and Regulatory Services
- Fleet Solutions
This is a part time, paid position working 2.5 days per week. Successful applicants will need to be able to commit to the start date 17 August and to the Monday half day Career Development workshops.

Assessment
The recruitment process will involve submission of written applications, phone or video screening conversations with the program coordinator and in-person interviews, typically with a 2-person panel including the team leader.
