The Role
We are seeking an experienced Information Management Services Manager to lead the operational delivery of records and information management services across the organisation.
In this role, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the Information Management team, making sure our records systems and processes run smoothly and meet all compliance requirements, including the Public Records Act 2002.
You’ll oversee our Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) and correspondence systems, ensuring records—whether digital, paper-based, or a mix of both—are effectively managed throughout their entire lifecycle. This is your opportunity to keep things efficient and compliant while driving improvements in how we manage information.
We are looking for a leader with proven experience managing operational teams in environments undergoing change and digital transformation, ideally within records management, information governance or similar service environments.
The role requires the ability to improve systems, processes and services while supporting staff through change, promoting best practice in records management and ensuring legislative and organisational requirements are consistently met.
To be successful you will have:
- proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering high quality, customer-focused information or records management services in a large organisation
- demonstrated experience improving information management practices and leading operational and strategic planning initiatives
- strong knowledge of information management legislation, compliance requirements and governance frameworks
- experience implementing and managing Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS)
- experience in managing digitisation projects
- strong communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across an organisation.
