The Team
The Occupational Health and Rehabilitation Team plays an important role to drive a Zero Harm agenda across Council, through the provision of services that support employee health and assist Council to comply with workplace health and safety laws. The team also works closely with City WorkCover who manages Council’s self-insurance licence, through the provision of workplace rehabilitation services to ill/injured employees.
The Role
Manage front of house, reception services, respond to phone and email enquiries and maintain accurate health records in compliance with retention standards to provide professional medical administration to support all employees across the organisation.
You will also be responsible for calendar appointments, procurement and invoice processing and continuously reviewing and improving our processes. Work together with our small team to encourage collaborative stakeholder relationships, mentor and guide team members and balance competing priorities to meet deadlines while driving customer service excellence.

To be successful you will have:
- highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrated experience in a complex customer service environment with experience in effectively resolving customer concerns
- excellent interpersonal skills, including experience liaising with people at all levels throughout the organisation and with external customers
- previous experience in a medical or clinical environment with a knowledge of medical terminology, will be highly regarded
- demonstrated administrative, organisational and time management skills
- proficiency in using computer software packages
- a C Class Drivers’ Licence.
