Salary Range: Band 4 $89,207 to $95,764 + Superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions and effective from 08 October 2025)

Location: Eagle Farm & Virginia Bus Depots – 1 position in each

Our Branch

Public Transport Services is a group that brings together Commercial and Contract Services, Engineering and Asset Management, Strategy and Network Services and Transport Operations. Together, these branches help keep our city moving. Whether by bus, CityCat or ferry, e-bike or e-scooter, and Metro, our group manages bus contracts with Translink, ferry, e-mobility scheme and personalised public transport operators, that enable us to support the transport choices of Brisbane residents and visitors.

The Role

Public Transport Services has an exciting opportunity for two Operations Support Officers. In this role you will provide advice and timely reporting on operational issues and assist the Depot Manager in delivering administrative support for the delivery of operational objectives within Public Transport Services Bus Depots. This role will also provide local support to the Network Planning team with respect to infrastructure, service-oriented complaints and coordinating training and Depot based project work.

Key focus areas include:

  • administrative work maintains depot registers, databases, on-bus CCTV footage etc.
  • responding to customer enquiries and complaints in regard to bus routes and timetables
  • co-ordinating Depot training including conducting site visitor inductions
  • project work eg. run print review management.

To be successful you will have:

  • ability to investigate (safety, operational and customer) issues
  • analyse data from a range of information sources
  • develop and maintain stakeholder relationships (internal and external)
  • organisational and time management skills
  • strong written and oral communication skills.
