About the Opportunity
This role is specifically designed to support students undertaking an approved Environmental Health qualification.
You will:
- gain hands-on experience in environmental health practice
- work alongside qualified Environmental Health Officers
- apply your academic learning to real community issues
- build capability in regulatory, investigative, and educational functions
All duties are performed under supervision, ensuring a structured, supportive learning environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll:
- assist Environmental Health Officers with inspections, investigations and regulatory activities
- support research, prepare draft reports, and contribute to assessments
- help develop educational materials and community information
- gather observations and evidence to support compliance work
- provide customer service and respond to general enquiries
- contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements include:
