About the Opportunity

This role is specifically designed to support students undertaking an approved Environmental Health qualification.

You will:

• gain hands-on experience in environmental health practice
• work alongside qualified Environmental Health Officers
• apply your academic learning to real community issues
• build capability in regulatory, investigative, and educational functions

All duties are performed under supervision, ensuring a structured, supportive learning environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll:

• assist Environmental Health Officers with inspections, investigations and regulatory activities
• support research, prepare draft reports, and contribute to assessments
• help develop educational materials and community information
• gather observations and evidence to support compliance work
• provide customer service and respond to general enquiries
• contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements include:

• current enrolment in an accredited Environmental Health qualification.
• ability to work under supervision and follow regulatory frameworks
• current C Class driver licence.
• willingness to undertake relevant pre-employment checks
