The Role 

In role is responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering transport services for major Brisbane events and charters. 

You will work closely with operational depots, clients, subcontractors and external partners to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer expectations and business objectives. 

In this role, you will: 

  • Lead the planning and delivery of transport services for major sporting, cultural, charter and special events, ensuring safe, reliable and customer-focused outcomes 
  • build and maintain effective partnerships with key stakeholders including Stadiums Queensland, venue operators, TransLink, Queensland Police Service and Queensland Rail 
  • monitor operational performance, budgets and financial outcomes, providing accurate reporting and identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and commercial performance 
  • manage subcontractors and service partners to ensure compliance with contractual, safety and service requirements while delivering value for money 
  • drive operational excellence by proactively resolving issues, leading safety and risk management practices, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and service reliability 

To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to lead and develop teams in fast-paced operational environments 
  • proven experience planning and delivering complex transport, logistics or event operations while meeting safety, service and operational requirements 
  • strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence outcomes and collaborate effectively across diverse groups 
  • experience driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality and customer outcomes 
  • sound knowledge of safety management systems, risk management and compliance requirements, with a strong commitment to maintaining safe and reliable operations.
