Salary Range: Band 6 $112,055 - $123,989 + Superannuation

(Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Our Branch

Governance, Council and Committee Services provides excellence in administrative and strategic governance services to Council and external customers in an evolving environment.

The Role

The Senior Council and Committee Officer provides high quality administration, coordination and customer support to elected representatives, the Office of the Chief Executive Officer, Group Executive and General Counsel, Council and Committee Liaison Office Manager and Group Executive Office’s.

To be successful you will have:

  • highly developed administrative and customer service skills
  • demonstrated business improvement and knowledge management capabilities with success in improving processes to achieve quality outcomes
  • demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Councils organisational structure and responsibilities, the Council and Committee Liaison Office, key Council, E&C and corporate decision-making processes and relevant legislation
  • high level, consistently accurate written communication skills to prepare and edit complex documents.
