Public Space Operations is a service delivery, customer focused and commercially driven business that prides itself on keeping Brisbane’s streets and public spaces clean, green, and safe for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
The Role
The Business Support Coordinator is responsible for the planning, leading, directing, and proactive coordination and delivery of the business support activities of all work areas within Public Space Operations branch.
This role is the primary liaison for administrative and operational matters, responsible for coordinating and providing guidance on administrative activities across public space operations.
You
You will have considerable knowledge and experience in business support and coordinating resources. You will be a collaborative leader with strong communication skills to connect with team members as well as customers, stakeholders, and management.
We are looking for a resilient and agile leader who can prioritise and coordinate work effectively with consideration to branch needs, customer service, and quality outcomes.
- To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated evidence of capabilities in Council’s Leadership Blueprint
- highly developed customer service skills
- ability to resolve complex enquiries relating to administrative and business matters
- a demonstrated ability to coordinate workflows
- demonstrated ability to develop, implement, analyse, audit and report on administrative processes, and statistical information
- high level verbal and written communication skills.
