Support Services plays an important role in enabling Council’s operations through reliable administration, warehousing, logistics, information management, payment and supply services. Our teams support a wide range of internal customers and help ensure Council services are delivered safely, efficiently and effectively.
The Role
This Expression of Interest is an opportunity to register your interest in administration, warehousing, logistics and information management roles across Support Services. Opportunities may include temporary full-time, part-time or flexible arrangements, depending on business needs.
Roles may support a range of functions including customer service, records and information management, warehouse operations, inventory support, logistics coordination, data entry, administrative processing, document control, procurement support, payments support and general business administration.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
Essential:
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to a Zero Harm workforce and support a positive team culture;
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders;
- Sound attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately within agreed timeframes;
- Ability to self-manage, prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy operational environment;
- Experience or interest in administration, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, records management or information management; and
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and other corporate systems, or willingness to learn.
- For Warehouse and Logistics roles, A current C class driver’s licence & high risk work licence (Forklift) are mandatory. MR or HR licence will be highly regarded
Desirable:
- Experience using systems such as SAP, records management systems, inventory systems or similar corporate platforms would be highly regarded
- A current C class driver’s licence
- Working knowledge or awareness of workplace health and safety, information handling, confidentiality and records management requirements.
