Salary Range: Band 3 $82,008 - $87,344 + Superannuation (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions) 

Work type: Temporary Full-time 

Duration: Up to 12 months (Extension/s thereafter but not guaranteed).

The Role 

We are looking for two Administration Officer's who thrive on variety and enjoy working in a fast-paced, changing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, results-oriented, and takes ownership of their work. You’ll be part of a supportive group that values collaboration, initiative, and a strong customer service ethos. 

As an Administration Officer, you will provide efficient and reliable administrative services, including reporting, procurement and general financial management tasks, while delivering high-quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll access and update Council’s business systems and play a key role in developing and maintaining effective administration systems and procedures. In this role, you’ll support team members and leaders with day-to-day operations and small projects, and respond flexibly to changing business needs, including working across various Council sites throughout Brisbane. 

To be successful you will have: 

  • experience in providing high-quality administrative and business support services 
  • strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage confidential information 
  • willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities 
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders 
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team 
  • problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail 
  • ability to quickly adapt to and learn corporate systems and software packages
