The Role

Step into a role where your analysis shapes what happens next. As a Senior Data Analyst in People and Culture, you’ll support strategic and operational decision making by delivering high quality analysis, reporting and business intelligence that leaders can act on. You’ll dig into workforce and operational data to uncover trends, risks and opportunities, then translate complex findings into clear, practical insights that help Council prioritise and continuously improve.

Working closely with stakeholders, you’ll lift data literacy, deliver meaningful decision support, and present insights in a visually compelling, accessible way that influences outcomes and strengthens service delivery across Council.

To be successful you will have:

  • strong capability building engaging dashboards and reports using Power BI and advanced Excel, with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • hands on experience translating ERP and HR system data, including platforms like SuccessFactors and SAP, into modelling and recommendations
  • confidence partnering with non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders, explaining complex analysis in plain language and influencing decisions
  • experience working in transformation or transition environments, using data to track readiness, adoption and benefits realisation over time
