Our Branch
Infrastructure Services brings together Council's asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project management, construction, services, maintenance and transport operations activities.
The Role
As a Delivery Manager, you will lead a team of technical and operational staff to successfully deliver civil construction projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
You’ll provide strategic and technical advice to senior leaders and stakeholders while fostering strong partnerships with customers, contractors and the community. This role combines hands-on project delivery, people leadership, and operational oversight in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
To be successful you will have:
- degree qualifications in Civil Engineering (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- possession of a current construction White Card
- demonstrated experience delivering civil construction projects in an urban environment
- strong people leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- proven experience managing project budgets, timelines and performance
- excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- knowledge of WHS, environmental and quality frameworks
- strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex operational challenges
- experience using project management and reporting tools (e.g. MS Project, SAP, Excel)
