The Occupational Health and Rehabilitation team plays an important role to drive the Zero Harm agenda across Council, through the provision of services that support employee health and assist Council to comply with workplace health and safety laws. The team also manages Council’s self-insurance licence, including rehabilitation of ill/injured employees. 

In your role of Occupational Health Administration Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the team who provide these services and work collaboratively to achieve best outcomes.

Some of your responsibilities in this role will include: 

  • The provision of a high standard of professional face to face and over the phone customer service, with the ability to liaise with customers across the organisation and externally
  • Management of conflicting priorities and delivery of high quality work to tight schedules and deadlines
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive medical information
  • Providing a range of administrative support for the team with attention to detail
  • Monitoring, reviewing and continually improving procedures and processes
  • Actioning accounts, orders and invoicing on behalf of the team

This role is permanent fulltime, Monday to Friday, and requires a C Class Driver Licence and Criminal History Check for the preferred candidate.
