The City Communication Digital Strategy and Innovation team plays a key role in delivering Council’s digital transformation, ensuring our customer-facing platforms deliver seamless, user-friendly and engaging experiences for residents and businesses. The Role

As a Senior Digital Product Officer, you will take a leading role in managing Council’s external facing digital channels and shaping the future of our digital products. This is an opportunity to lead our key platforms such as the corporate website and MyServices, define product roadmaps, and bridge the gap between strategy and execution.

You’ll work closely with technical teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver enhancements, monitor performance and ensure best practice in user experience. Success in this role means being able to pivot from proactive to reactive, thriving in a problem-solving environment, and using data driven insights to innovate and improve customer engagement.

To be successful you will have:

  • experience in digital product management, including roadmap development and agile delivery
  • strong understanding of user experience principles and customer centred design practices
  • ability to analyse data and use insights to drive decisions
  • excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • resilience and adaptability within an evolving environment
  • knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, emerging technologies.
