Our Branch

Compliance and Regulatory Services (CARS) supplies services which help make Brisbane a fairer and safer place 24/7. Our focus is our Community Value, and we engage with people across the City in a consistent, responsive way, making strong decisions to resolve problems and deliver solutions. 

CARS is divided into four dynamic work areas, all working together to deliver compliance and provide the highest level of community value to Brisbane residents.

The Role

The Branch Management Coordinator is accountable for proactively identifying and resolving emerging issues, providing assistance to the General Manager, CARS, and the Branch Leadership Team, and promoting cooperation throughout the organisation for timely issue resolution. Tasked with overseeing the daily operations of the Branch Management Office (BMO), this role focuses on nurturing positive relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders, ensuring seamless operational responses, and exemplifying a customer-focused mindset.

The Branch Management Coordinator is responsible for proactively identifying and addressing emerging issues, providing support to the General Manager, CARS and Branch Leadership Team, and facilitating cooperation across the organisation for prompt issue resolution. The role is responsible for ensuring corporate and branch governance requirements are met and is involved in formulating and reviewing business processes and systems.

To be successful you will have:

  • a desire to lead by example in a customer-focused culture
  • exceptional written, verbal and negotiation skills 
  • experience liaising with all levels in a professional manner to obtain mutually beneficial outcomes
  • strong administrative, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • proven ability to communicate with key stakeholders regarding projects, initiatives, issues and operational matters.
