Salary Range: Band 7 AUD $132,572.00 - $144,942.00 plus superannuation and benefits.  

Remuneration stated is for full-time positions

Our Branch 

The Business Engagement and Performance Branch operates across Council as a strategic partner and standard-setter, empowering the organisation to deliver exceptional community and organisational value through enterprise strategy-to-execution alignment, good governance, and service and process excellence. The branch builds Council’s capacity to manage performance, portfolios and change to deliver desired outcomes for the city and adapt to future demand and growth. 

The Role 

Process Specialists support the Manager Delivery Excellence and Business Architect with the delivery and embedment of the Business Process Management (BPM) Centre of Excellence (COE), business and process architecture, and a range of BPM initiatives for Brisbane City Council.  

In this role you will contribute to the implementation, administration, governance and ongoing management of Council’s BPM technology and methodologies to ensure optimum service and process outcomes.  

 You will liaise with project teams, service owners, and business process practitioners across Council, as well as the BPM technology vendor to foster stakeholder relationships and partnerships.  

To be successful you will have: 

  • superior engagement, networking, communication and influencing skills 
  • high level research, analytical and problem-solving skills, 
  • demonstrated experience in and understanding of business process management methods, practices and BPM tools 
  • proven leadership in customer and employee experience (EX and CX)
