In corporate services we support, equip and help guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach.

Our Branch

Support Services provides Council's key support services under a centralised model. Our efficient back-of-house support ensures more resources can be focused on Council’s front-line service delivery. Support Services provides an enormous range of support to all areas of Council.

The Role

The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including supporting key systems such as Content Manager (RM), CMX (Mincor), LG Hub, and InmailX. Core duties involve delivering user training, provisioning accounts, managing and resolving Helix work orders, and performing maintenance activities to uphold recordkeeping standards, security, and corporate compliance. Additionally, the role promotes recordkeeping awareness and compliance by providing training aligned with the Public Records Act 2023 and contributing to the development of recordkeeping compliance metrics.

This role reports directly to the Team Leader, Information Management Consultancy and Compliance to support the delivery of information management services. This role will see you:

  • provide information management consultancy services and advice with all staff levels
  • compliance monitoring and reporting
  • provision of information management, recordkeeping, and records manager training
  • project support for application upgrades.

To be successful you will have:

  • experience to facilitate compliance using internal audit concepts and record keeping standards
  • ability to support and delivery of information and records management services
  • demonstrated experience and the ability to support & deliver information and records management services
  • ability to interpret standards & legislative requirements for records management
  • ability to supervise, mentor & guide employees in the delivery of records management and mail services.
