Corporate Services support, equip and help guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach.
Our Branch
Information Services branch (ISB) delivers digital and information technologies to maintain and enhance Council’s information, processes and systems, and enable data driven insights to improve decision-making and customer experience.
The Role
Lead by example in this coordination role. This position provides support those who serve the people who live, work, study or visit Brisbane by ensuring the sustainability of core ITIL-based service operations functions. The role supports resilience by collaborating with stakeholders, resolving issues, and driving continual service improvement.
You will have a passion for customer engagement, data analysis, change management, and automation initiatives be able to manage competing priorities. You will love communicating effectively at all levels and delivering exceptional customer service.
To be successful you will have:
- a strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and ability to apply in a fast-paced environment
- a willingness to participate in after-hours rostered support for business-critical operations or disaster recovery events to ensure uninterrupted service
- understanding of automation and process improvement and desire to drive enhancements
- experience in Business Continuity Planning and Disaster Recovery
- the ability to identify recurring issues, raising problem records, and facilitate root-cause investigation.
