Our Branch
Information Services branch (ISB) supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible, and innovative ICT solutions. We lead the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.
Why these roles matter
The Information Services branch (ISB) at Brisbane City Council are seeking experienced ICT Project Coordinators to coordinate specialised projects, ensuring support with governance and administrative requirements, responsive to customer needs. The role, connect projects, programs, and technical streams. Effective coordination is essential to bring order to fast‑moving, high pressure delivery.
In this role, you will:
- Coordinate ICT portfolio plans, schedules, milestones and key delivery activities
- Prepare and maintain portfolio governance documentation, actions and artefacts
- Track and report on risks, issues, decisions, dependencies and portfolio initiatives
- Support financial, resourcing and contract visibility across projects
- Produce clear dashboards, reports and updates for stakeholders and leadership
- Contribute to portfolio planning activities, engagement sessions and continuous improvement initiatives
What you will bring:
- Portfolio or project coordination experience
- Strong governance and reporting capability
- Confidence managing risks, actions, and dependencies
- Financial and resourcing tracking experience
- High level organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to support multiple delivery teams under pressure
- Qualifications in project management, business administration, or information technology are highly regarded.
