Salary Range: Band 7, range $132,572 - $144,942 plus statutory superannuation (Remuneration stated is for full time) and weekly pay cycle

Work type: Temporary full time, 2 years with potential for extension

 Information Services branch are seeking an experienced Service Manager - Endpoint Platform Management Leader to mentor and drive a talented team, leading high-impact improvements that uplift user experience, security, and foster collaborative partnerships both internally and with external providers.

Our Branch: Information Services supports and enables nearly all of Council’s day-to-day activities and services through efficient, flexible, and innovative ICT solutions. We lead the ICT strategy that supports the business objectives of Council as a whole, as well as information management and ICT service delivery in Council.

You will lead a high performing team delivering secure, seamless, and modern end-user computing services. From desktop to mobile, virtual to automated deployment - your expertise will define how our organisation works, collaborates, and delivers. This role ensures service ownership for endpoint services, works closely with cybersecurity teams, oversees configuration policies, application deployment, platform health, compliance, security baselines, end user device strategy and lifecycle, modernization, and continuous improvement.

 In this role you will:

  • be responsible for the strategy, operation, and performance of Council’s endpoint environment
  • work with modern platforms like Intune, SCCM, Azure AD and Autopilot
  • drive innovation, reliability, and security across all endpoints
