The Role
Are you a dynamic Facilities Manager seeking a new challenge? Join Brisbane City Council and take charge of coordinating and managing the operational aspects of buildings, ensuring safe and efficient environments for occupants. Lead by example, driving performance excellence, sustainability, and customer focus to create innovative and dynamic workspaces that meet the diverse needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- organise, control, and coordinate operational management of buildings and facilities
- lead performance excellence and uphold a values-based culture
- maintain and sustain built assets in accordance with maintenance programs
- provide operational input into the strategic facility management plan
- manage building maintenance, projects, and minor works within the portfolio.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated capabilities in leadership excellence and values-based culture.
- sound knowledge and application of Workplace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies
- proven experience in planning and delivering facilities management programs within budget and timeline
- highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- familiarity with procurement principles to ensure effective contract administration for service delivery.
