Infrastructure Services (ISG) brings together Council's asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project management, construction, services, maintenance and transport operations activities.
Our Branch
Public Space Operations (PSO) is a service delivery, customer focused and commercially driven business that prides itself on keeping Brisbane’s streets and public spaces clean, green and safe for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike.
The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Product Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of scheduled works and provide day-to-day administrative support to our operational teams.
You’ll play a key role in keeping things running smoothly — coordinating jobs, managing customer enquiries, assisting with quoting and invoicing, and helping improve how we deliver our services.
About the role:
As a Product Support Officer, you will:
- support the planning and scheduling of works and services
- act as a key link between customers, operational teams and support areas
- prepare and manage quotes, estimates and job documentation
- create and maintain work orders and job records
- assist with sourcing and requisitioning materials and equipment
- provide accurate data entry, reporting and general admin support
- support invoicing processes and ensure billing accuracy
- respond to customer enquiries, requests and complaints in a timely and helpful way.
To be successful you will have:
- strong teamwork skills and a willingness to give and receive feedback
- a customer-focused mindset with the ability to solve problems
- sound administrative experience and attention to detail
- strong communication skills — both written and verbal
- the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- good computer skills, including Microsoft Office (or the ability to learn)
- an understanding of safe work practices and commitment to workplace safety
Desirable
- experience in a similar operational or service-based environment
- exposure to systems such as SAP or Gecko
- knowledge of public space or operational service delivery (or willingness to learn)
