The Role

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of Council’s most significant workforce transformations. As a Senior Business Analyst in the People and Culture Business Readiness team, you’ll sit at the heart of the SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors program - helping prepare more than 8,000 employees and contractors for new ways of working. Working across multiple, interdependent projects, you’ll partner with Process Owners, subject matter experts and technical teams to design future‑state processes, drive readiness, and ensure People and Culture services operate seamlessly from Day One.

This role is ideal for a Senior Business Analyst who thrives in complex, fast‑paced environments and enjoys turning strategy into practical outcomes. You’ll lead process improvement, facilitate high‑impact workshops, shape change and adoption activities, and help realise long‑term benefits beyond go‑live. With clear governance, strong leadership and a highly supportive team culture, you’ll have both the mandate and backing to make a real, organisation‑wide impact - at a scale that truly matters.

To be successful you will have:

  • proven experience as a senior business analyst delivering complex, organisation‑wide change
  • strong capability in process design, improvement and business readiness for large programs
  • experience working with senior stakeholders, process owners and subject matter experts
  • ability to translate complex systems and processes into practical, workable outcomes
  • highly developed communication and facilitation skills, including workshops and presentations
  • a collaborative mindset with the confidence to lead, influence and drive outcomes without direct authority.

Desirable:

  • experience working with SAP SuccessFactors and contingent workforce solutions such as Fieldglass.

Benefits of working for Council include:

  • flexible working hours, and flexible arrangements
  • free gym and wellness centre
  • award winning superannuation fund
  • generous leave provisions
  • competitive salary.
