Corporate Services support, equip and help guide Council to deliver the Brisbane Vision through centralised corporate services and a customer-focused approach.
Our Branch
Support Services provides Council's key support services under a centralised model. Our efficient back-of-house support ensures more resources can be focused on Council’s front-line service delivery.
The Role
As Team Leader you will be responsible for managing a team of administrative officers based in a variety of groups and locations across the organisation. You will have the opportunity to engage, coach, mentor and guide your team to deliver a wide range of high quality administrative and business support services. You will be able to identify areas for improvement in processes and systems, as well as monitor and report on team’s performance and contribute to the ongoing development of workforce capability.

As the successful candidate you will have:
- demonstrated leadership experience and capability to manage a team across various locations
 - a desire to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment
 - highly developed organisational and time management skills
 - well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
 - sound negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills; and
 - demonstrated experience managing complex and competing priorities within strict deadlines.
