Salary Range: Band 4 - $86,107.00 - $92,436.00 (Remuneration stated is for the full-time positions)

Transport for Brisbane’s event transport team, within Strategy and Network Service Branch coordinate event transport services for a wide range of sporting, cultural and special events around the city including NRL, AFL, Bridge to Brisbane, RiverFire, New Years Eve and to transport the Mud Army volunteers to flood affected suburbs across Brisbane.
The Event Transport Services Assistant provides high quality liaison and customer services to internal and external customers through providing administrative support to the Strategy and Network Services team.
Daily tasks include:
- providing general advice to customers regarding service offerings available within the team.
- assist with planning activities for various charter services and bus tours
- assist with development of staff rosters
- accurate data entry and database management
- post event activities; equipment audits, payroll reconciliation
- assist with process and procedure improvements.
To be successful in this role, you’ll demonstrate a range of knowledge, skills and abilities together with examples that demonstrate strong alignment with Council’s values, your ability to deliver outcomes and your contribution to team performance.
Specifically, we’re looking for your:
- professional communication skills and collaborative approach to working within a team
- strong skills to develop administrative processes and procedures
- demonstrated ability in handling sensitive, complex and confidential information
- high level initiative to manage time and prioritize effectively
- demonstrated problem solving, research and analytical skills including the ability to identify trends in data and opportunities for improvement.
- demonstrated proficiency in computer systems such as word documents and spread sheeting.
