Our Branch
Infrastructure Services brings together Council's asset management, infrastructure planning, design, project management, construction, services, maintenance and transport operations activities.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you will take ownership of delivering assigned civil projects safely, on time, within budget, and to scope. You will provide leadership, technical expertise, and support to operational teams, while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and leadership capability, and who is committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for the community.
To be successful you will have:
- a degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline)
- “C” Class Driver’s Licence
- possession of a current White Card
- experience delivering civil construction or infrastructure projects
- knowledge of project management, procurement, and construction practices
- experience managing budgets, resources, and project risks
- ability to lead and influence teams in a collaborative, safety-focused environment
- excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- experience applying workplace health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
