Our Business:

Council’s Transport for Brisbane, delivers public transport services to the City of Brisbane through a number of contracts with the State Government and private organisations. Transport for Brisbane operates and maintains one of the largest public transport fleets in Australia. We have a number of depots across the city with dedicated garage maintenance functions. 

Join Transport Operations in a critical permanent role based in Toowong, where you will support and deliver on activities related to maintenance of the heavy vehicle bus fleet. 

Join our team as a Maintenance Compliance Officer and take charge of ensuring optimal performance in a dynamic, continuous improvement setting. We're seeking a driven individual with a keen focus on driving efficiency and maintaining compliance standards.

In this role, you will also be required to conduct high quality audits and reporting in the maintenance sector, which include a range of utilising SAP Plant Maintenance, Logistics and Finance modules or experience with a similar system as required.

To be successful you will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage the compliance of Integrated Maintenance Management systems that supports operational effectiveness and efficiency, promotes continuous improvement and captures and retains critical business knowledge
  • excellent written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to negotiate, facilitate, liaise and consult effectively with all levels of staff and management
  • well-developed computer skills and proficiency in software-based business intelligence tools.
