Our Support Services branch delivers essential back-of-house functions under a centralised model, enabling more resources to be focused on front-line service delivery. We play a critical role in driving operational success across the organisation and supporting every area of Council.
As an experienced Project Manager within Support Services, you will manage the delivery of the Services for Brisbane project teams and outcomes, ensuring ongoing alignment of functional and strategic objectives. You will oversee the delivery of projects, develop long-term project strategies and supporting artefacts, and optimise governance across specialist resources such as change management, business analysis, and project monitoring. The Services for Brisbane program is delivered through two streams - Customer & Digital and Modern ERP, and is all about embracing technology to enhance service delivery and create exceptional experiences for the people of Brisbane. By optimising corporate and support operations through innovative digital solutions, you will help us deliver a more connected, user-friendly future for our community.
Leading the delivery of complex, high-impact projects is where you excel. In this role, you will manage multi-disciplined teams and apply proven methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or PRINCE2 to achieve outstanding results. Your expertise in digital transformation and ERP systems like SAP will drive innovation, while your advanced analytical and problem-solving skills will shape strategic decisions. With exceptional communication and influencing abilities, you will foster collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Experience with tools such as Project Online, JIRA, and Azure DevOps will give you a competitive edge.
If you have strong project management expertise, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a passion for continuous improvement within a values-driven, performance-focused culture, we would love to hear from you.
