Construction delivers consistent, high quality, value for money, whole of life infrastructure. Our comprehensive knowledge of project services and assets enables us to communicate and negotiate for the best long-term options to meet the needs of the rate payers and residents of Brisbane.
The Role
This newly created role will provide specialist contract management expertise across major construction and engineering projects. You will manage contractual performance, support procurement activities, oversee contractor relationships and help ensure Story Bridge projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual requirements.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, contractors and consultants, you will provide commercial advice, manage risks and support positive project outcomes across a complex infrastructure environment.
To be successful you will have:
- demonstrated experience managing construction, engineering or infrastructure-related contracts
- strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and commercial management principles
- proven ability to build effective relationships and influence outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups
- highly developed negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- commitment to workplace safety and experience applying safety principles within contract and project delivery environments.
